“Doesn’t really feel like Christmas at all” this line from a popular Coldplay song “Christmas lights” perfectly suit the plot of this game which is based on the classic Russian ballet The Nutcracker. A magical Rat King turned Albert into a nutcracker, kidnapped his beloved girlfriend Mary and turned her into a porcelain doll. Will you be able to save them before Christmas? Do your best to rescue a couple and defeat the Rat King otherwise they will never see each other again.
The story begins with you opening the Christmas gift and finding the talking Nutcracker that tells you his sad story. Now it’s up to you to find justice and save Albert and Mary. This is a Hidden Object game with elements of a real adventure, with lots of challenging mini-games and puzzles to solve. It has interactive map, short cut-scenes, an option to skip the puzzle and someone who will always give you hints. You can also choose from three different levels of difficulty.
There’s just one disadvantage – the game developers send you back and forth between two furthest points in the game world over and over again, which is a little bit annoying. But overall we can’t say anything bad about this installment. Graphics are truly stunning and mesmerizing, especially the scenes with Christmas decorations. Soundtrack, music and voiceovers are made extremely well.
Christmas Stories: Nutcracker won’t leave anyone indifferent and no one will be disappointed after finishing this literally best pc game. Play, have fun and then recommend it to your friends.
